This is a revitalization project focusing on how to balance the relationship between tourists and local residents. The site is currently within a historical district, where open space and infrastructure are in need because of large amount of illegal construction projects. Government proposed to transform the area to a new art district for its good riverfront location and some well-preserved building heritage.

Transformation will happen through 3 different phases: re-opening the river bank, reactivating river front area, transforming historical community. We also utilized existing cultural and structural elements as our spatial reference to preserve the local history for residents and tourists.
