LABYRINTH ON HILL, FLORENCE, ITALY

related project: T I M E

After doing research of Vivienne Westwood’s design process, I was inspired by her rebellious spirit and dynamic energy throughout her whole life. Instead of designing a fully organized garden, I decided to design a playful and growing “labyrinth” on the mysterious and rarely isolated hill in Florence. The project is supposed to be a playground for visitors to explore by themselves.

Based on the imaginary features of this project, I drew several sketches at the beginning of the process to illustrate the space in abstract way. For the final presentation, I followed the same aesthetics to express a sense of uncertainity and playfulness of the dynamic scenes I want to construct.
